Resolving G-1090 connectivity issues
Upon powering on the G-1090, the status LED will flash green, indicating that the receiver is attempting to connect to the Internet. If the G-1090 fails to establish an Internet connection, the status LED will flash red twice.
To troubleshoot any possible network problems, please adhere to the following instructions:
- Ping the G-1090 IP Address:
The G-1090 will seamlessly connect to a DHCP server to receive an IP address if one is available. If no DHCP server is detected, it will automatically use the default IP address of 192.168.123.123/24. - Check Firewall and Network Settings:
Please verify that the outgoing connections listed below are allowed within your network and are not hindered by a firewall. The designated ports need to be open for seamless communication:- 23452/udp
- 18883/tcp
- 443/tcp
- 80/tcp
- 5959-5970/udp
- 10000-40000/udp
- 123/tcp
- 1514/tcp
- 1194/udp
After the Internet connection is established, the LED will blink in blue, indicating that the GPS signal has not yet been acquired. Eventually, the LED will change to green with intermittent cyan flashes, which means that both the Internet connection and GPS fix are stable. The receiver will not show as online in the INVOLI.live web interface until it has a proper connection and a GPS fix.
