What is the G-1090 Receiver?
The G-1090 is a Swiss-engineered and Swiss-made air traffic receiver, designed for permanent outdoor installation. The receiver can capture signals from ADS-B, Mode-S, Mode A/C, UAT, and FLARM transponders, offering comprehensive air traffic coverage. Its robust, IP66-rated casing ensures reliable operation in all weather conditions.
Once configured and connected to the internet, the G-1090 automatically transmits received air traffic data to the INVOLI server for real-time processing and integration.
The G-1090 surveillance receiver provides data that integrates seamlessly with INVOLI Multilateration. This process converts basic aviation signals, such as Mode-S and Mode A/C messages, into precise air traffic tracks. Additionally, Multilateration can verify positions obtained from ADS-B messages.
There are two methods to visualize or obtain the air traffic detected by the G-1090:
- INVOLI.live Web Interface: Access real-time traffic information through the INVOLI.live platform.
- INVOLI REST API: Integrate a continuous traffic data stream directly into your software, such as UTM/U-space or drone ground control systems.
