G-1090 Receiver (Basic)
The G-1090 receiver in its basic form is equipped with a single omnidirectional antenna, optimized to receive signals from ADS-B, Mode-S, and Mode A/C transponders used by commercial aircraft. It delivers reliable air traffic data for a wide range of applications.
In addition to its effectiveness for ADS-B monitoring, the basic variant can also be used for multilateration when deployed in a network of at least five receivers. For expanded functionality, the basic model can be upgraded with features such as FLARM or UAT support, tailored to specific use cases and geographical requirements.
G-1090 FLARM Receiver
This version of the G-1090 receiver includes an additional module to support FLARM transmitters, which are primarily used by general aviation, balloons, and paragliders.
Equipped with an extra 868 MHz omnidirectional antenna, this model is designed mainly for use in Europe. The FLARM reception range is up to 60 km, due to the lower transmission power of FLARM transponders compared to the more powerful ADS-B transponders used by large commercial aircraft.
The G-1090 FLARM receiver distinguishes itself from the ADS-B-only model by featuring two antennas instead of one. The FLARM antenna is a 9 dBi, 63 cm long fiberglass antenna.
G-1090 UAT Receiver
This receiver is specifically designed for the U.S. market, as 978 MHz UAT transponders are restricted to use only within the United States. The G-1090 UAT model features two reception antennas: one for ADS-B (1090 MHz) and an omnidirectional antenna for 978 MHz with a 5.5 dBi gain, measuring 66 cm in length and made of fiberglass.
G-1090 Receiver with Remote ID Support
This receiver is designed for worldwide use and is equipped with an ADS-B standard antenna, along with a 2.4 GHz omnidirectional antenna, which has a 0 dBi gain and measures 10 cm in length. The additional antenna is specifically utilized to capture Wi-Fi signals broadcast by the Remote ID module from drones.
