RemoteEU-1
SITUATION

According to applicable European regulations, all drones in flight must comply with the ASD-STAN 4709-002, providing identification and location information that can be received by authorities and other parties.

SOLUTION

Drone operators will be able to conduct their operations in all EASA authorized airspace and other airspaces having implemented the ASD-STAN 4709-002, for open and specific category operations.

IMPACT

Airspace managers will have in hand the necessary safety critical data to reduce the risk of accidents in previously uncontrolled airspaces. This visibility will positively impact several airspace users, for instance regional airports, emergency services, drone operators or infrastructure owners.

“AirShare, a UAV Traffic Management solution developed by Airways New Zealand, is delighted to be working with Involi on testing and trailing their LEMAN RemoteID Drone Tracker. Integration with remote ID solutions such as Involi’s is a key objective for AirShare to create a live common operating picture for airspace managers to safely co-ordinate UAV traffic within their airspace. We are impressed by Involi’s remote ID product, the form factor of the physical device and the ease of integration into AirShare’s UTM.”
